Nisha Grover is an Artist, Designer and Maker living in the Midlands. She studied Textile Design at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design in London, where she specialised in Print Design and developed her passion for intricate patterns and vibrant colours. Her work is inspired by nature and creation and influenced by folk art from around the world. Creating a fusion of eastern and western design she aims to create artwork that touches the heart and lifts the spirit.
Over the years Nisha has been involved in many private and public commissions ranging from painting large murals in public spaces to designing art work for packaging. Clients have included the NHS, Wild in Art and The Body Shop. More recently she has been designing and painting animal sculptures for public art trails around the country. These can be viewed in the ‘projects’ section.
Nisha’s own art practice is constantly developing and she loves to explore different themes, methods and mediums to create new artwork. She currently has a collection of prints and handmade original artworks made from reclaimed wood, recycled ceramics, polymer clay and natural objects found in nature. She exhibits and sells her artwork at various arts & crafts events and venues. Examples of her artwork are shown in the ‘gallery’.
